Getting started with Gorilla Health

New to red-light glasses or the Polar Loop? Start here — what each tool does, how to use it, and the routine that ties them together.

Getting started with Gorilla Health

Welcome to the troop. Gorilla Health builds a small system of tools to optimize the three things that decide how you feel: your sleep, your recovery, and your performance. Here's how to get going in your first week.

Your two tools

Red Light Glasses block the blue and artificial light that disrupts your sleep. Polar Loop is a screenless wearable that measures how well you're recovering, 24/7. One protects the night; the other shows you the result.

Day one

  • Charge your Polar Loop fully and put it on — it starts learning your baseline immediately.
  • Put your glasses somewhere you'll see them in the evening.
  • Tonight, wear the glasses for the last 2–3 hours before bed.

Your first week

Wear the Loop continuously so it can establish your normal ranges, and keep the glasses on every evening. By day five or six you'll have enough recovery data to start spotting patterns — and most people notice they're falling asleep faster.
